Professional Development Activities
The professional development stipend must be used for further educational opportunities, including:
- Additional board training
- Board giving
- Education assistance (GED, associates degree, college degree, master’s degree, other professional development/education courses)
- Books, supplies (laptops, software, monitors, headset, earbuds) associated with educational training
- Student loan repayment
- Conferences
- Webinars
- Memberships in professional organizations
- Subscriptions to professional podcasts, similar technology
- Travel, lodging, and meal expenses associated with out-of-town training, conferences
- Leadership training or other training to develop personal skills (ie-Leadership Winston-Salem)
The program activity stipend should not be considered unrestricted general financial support and cannot be re-granted to someone else.
